Deborah Cristofano, NCPT
Debbie Cristofano, NCPT, began Pilates as a client in 2009 after many years of chronic pain, depression and orthopedic surgeries. She was headed toward long-term disability until she found an amazing physical therapist, Ayurvedic medicine, and Pilates, all of which gave her a deeper understanding into the body/mind healing she needed.
She believes “Your Body Tells Your Story". Life experiences are expressed through our posture and unique movement patterns and we can change our story when we connect new movement patterns with new thought patterns. Pilates is an access point to shift your “story” - physically, mentally and emotionally.”
She also uses her degree in Human Services from Metropolitan State University of Denver as an integral part of the mind/body process to help clients find a deeper connection to their personal patterns.
Debbie spent 7 years as the Director of a Physical Therapy/Pilates Center in Centennial Colorado where she completed her Pilates training through Balanced Body Education in 2017. Debbie is honored to support each client on his/her unique journey.

Gina de Soto
Gina got her first taste of Pilates in New Orleans while studying at Loyola University Where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications & Photojournalism. A post-graduation move brought her to Colorado, home of the nationally renowned Pilates Center of Boulder, where she received her Certification in 2004. In 2015, after spending several years learning the lineage of Joe Pilates’ student Kathy Grant, Gina completed the Kathy Grant Heritage Training with Cara Reeser in Denver. An interest in food as medicine led Gina to the Nutritional Therapy Institute of Colorado where she graduated in 2013 as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
With 18 years of teaching experience behind her, Gina is passionate about exploring the Pilates Method as a way to help clients eliminate pain and decrease anxiety. The breath work, imagination, and refined concentration that are required during Pilates sessions helped her to recover from her own frustrating and unexplained low back pain.
The Pilates Method can be extremely beneficial in helping the brain to discover new pathways, change and reorganize; (this ability is also known as neuroplasticity). Along with her colleagues at Peace of Mind, Gina is excited to share these benefits with clients at any age, any stage of life.
A love of reading keeps Gina’s bedside table stacked with books about movement, breathing and brain science. When not in the studio she is most likely drinking coffee somewhere and enjoying down time with her husband, daughter and their 11 year old German Shepherd. She found her way into the world of Pilates, and for the first time found an exercise regime that kept her mentally and physically engaged. The results inspired her to pursue an intensive formal education and to share her knowledge with others as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher. Jeni completed the Advanced Teacher Training Program at The Pilates Center in Boulder in 2014 and completed the Kathy Grant Heritage Training Program designed and taught by Cara Reeser in 2013. After living and teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years she is now doing both in Denver, where she continuously hones her skills and knowledge about the body and movement. When not teaching online or in a studio Jeni is most likely reading about health and movement or out somewhere great with her son or sunning the garden with the cat.
